Birth Doula Support
iNDIVIDUALIZED bIRTH PREP & Labor support may include:
Complimentary Consultation via zoom
1-3 prenatal meetings to talk about your birth vision, discuss birth preferences & the options available, go over body mechanics for a more comfortable pregnancy, practice comfort techniques and birth positions, talk about what to expect during labor and what to do if certain obstacles arise, discuss newborn care & postpartum preparation, and speak about anything else that comes up for you during those meetings.
Unlimited phone/email support leading up to birth for information/resources as your pregnancy progresses.
On call for you at 37 weeks of pregnancy until your baby arrives.
Informational and emotional support during labor until you’re ready for continuous in person care where I will offer comforting touch, positional suggestions, assist your support person, advocacy, and overall support as needed.
With you during the immediate postpartum up to 2 hrs to assist with initial feeding, Golden Hour preferences, and support as needed.
1 postpartum meeting within the first 2 weeks to say our goodbyes, share pictures (if applicable), go over your birth story, and provide you with any desired resources or early lactation support.
Additional phone support during your postpartum time as needed.
Hypno-Doula Support Package
For clients who have taken hypnosis based childbirth education classes:

Your placenta is sacred. It is the only organ created by the body that serves a specific purpose and then is disposed once that purpose is complete. The placenta is your baby’s first buddy and their source of life-sustaining nutrients. The nourishing benefits of the placenta can be used to aid with the transition into parenthood. Possible benefits of consuming your placenta:
Hormonal balance, increase in energy levels, improves mood, boost in milk supply, replenishes iron levels in your body, replenishes B Vitamins lost during delivery, & offers pain relief due to the hormones contained within.*
My preference of preparation is inspired by the Traditional Chinese Medicine method. It is believed that during the postpartum period, the body is in a “cold” state and needs warmth for balance. In this case, the warmth is added through a gentle steaming of the placenta which includes lemon, ginger, (and chili pepper when appropriate). The placenta is then sliced into thin slivers and dehydrated for an extended amount of time before being powdered and encapsulated.
